Labdhi Shah is a visual artist based in New York.

Her work is born from her faith in the Jain philosophy of life, of which nonviolence is the fundamental tenet, and from her inner dialogue on how to live in accordance with it.

In her work, she unites her unique approach to color, shaped by the vibrant culture of Gujarat, India, where she grew up, and the modernist tradition of the 20th century.

Her work has been exhibited across the United States -- at the Art Students League of New York, the Annual Juried Exhibition of the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists’ Coalition, the Annual Juried Exhibition of the Greenwich Art Society, at the Dalton Gallery in Atlanta, at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art in Alabama, the Annual Juried exhibition of the Westobou gallery in Georgia, and in India at Amdavad ni Gufa in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and the Abhivyakti Art festival 2020.
